Bring a festive touch to your holiday table with this holly-and-berry decorative gourd. Holly leaves and red berries encircle the 2-inch opening, with delicate painted highlights and shadows adding depth and detail to both the leaves and berries.
The opening is carved to follow the pointed contours of the holly leaves, creating a distinctive, pointed scalloped edge rather than a smooth rim. Below the holly design, the rest of the gourd is finished in a natural-colored stain, while the interior is painted brown.
Display it on your holiday table, mantel, or a favorite shelf for a warm seasonal accent that invites a closer look at its intricate details.
