Bring cheerful sunflower charm to your home with this decorative gourd, designed to rest on its side. Seven sunflowers painted in acrylic surround the opening, with leaves nestled between the blooms. A natural-colored stained background provides a warm, earthy contrast to the floral design.
The sunflower centers are built up with a texture medium for added dimension and painted in various shades of brown. Wine-colored ball-chain rings each center, adding a subtle touch of sparkle and a distinctive finishing detail.
Measuring 3 inches tall and 9 inches wide in its sideways display position, this gourd makes a lovely accent for a mantel, shelf, or tabletop. The interior is painted brown, and the gourd has been weighted with sand to help it rest securely. Display it with the flower-framed opening facing forward to enjoy the textured centers and delicate accents.
