Bring the charm of a spring garden into your home with this purple crocus decorative gourd. The front features delicate carved filigree and stippled detailing, showcasing numerous purple crocuses with their stems and leaves. A natural-colored stained background provides a warm, earthy contrast to the intricate floral design.
A 1/4-inch-wide band of variegated gold leaf borders the carved area, adding a luminous finishing touch. Near the top of the design, a single butterfly straddles the border, its orange, yellow, and purple wings accented with small white dots. This colorful detail draws the eye across the floral scene.
Standing 10.5 inches tall and 6.5 inches wide, this gourd makes an elegant accent for a mantel, shelf, or display table. The top opening measures 2.25 inches across and features a wavy-cut rim, while the interior is painted black. Display it with the carved front facing outward to enjoy the delicate filigree, crocuses, and butterfly.
